Maybe I could turn this into a '365' style thing. Except I'm starting halfway through the year... lol.

So, from now on, to make me get into this, I will be posting ONE picture every single day. Sometimes with explanation, othertime with just the picture....?

Photography Questions.....Pondering

Now, my lack of talen. Is this...Actual lack of talent? Lack of subjects to hand? i.e Only have rescue dogs to work with, where I can't get the best shots. Lack of Equipment? i.e a godly f/2.8 lens *swoon*. Or lack of knowledge.

Now, I am constantly saying 'if only I can spend a day/long period of time with a dog to get to know it go places with good backgrounds etc. THEN and only THEN will I be able to get good pictures. I convince myself of this, and to some degree believe it. However, if you pluck an good photographer out, jump them in situations I usually take shots in, I'm 100% they'll get outstanding results. Whereas I don't.

It annoys me a little when people say 'you're brilliant you should be a photographer' cos I know I'm not, nor am I anywhere near as good as that talent wise.

So, is it down to models? Place? Equipment, or ultimatley, the right answer.....Talent?

Hello 'guys' I love it how I say that, I don't even advertise this blog, am the only one reading it, and have no idea how to 'get it out there' what a joke.

Anyway, am at my Auntie and Uncle's house this week looking after their cat, Minnie.

And then straight from this[literally] to Liverpool area to look after Benny dog, who I went and spent a couple days with last year, and his new little sister Milly, who they incidentally went to visit to adopt on the day I was leaving. Shall be a fabby time *wuv*

I can drive now :D Am gonna be going all sorts of places now, no stopping me...Unless there is a motorway :p

It's Hot Hot Hot!

Wow, summer has returned! Didn't think that'd happen!

Went up to HULA today, had a real lovely time walking doggies together, First we took Marcus and Storm2 and met Storm1 on the way, so the three of them had a nice time. Then afterwards we went and collected the 4 Greys, were planning on having them in the runs together, but they started picking on the more timid ones right away, so we just paired them up.

Lucy and Foxy had a good time!

We then walked those guys round the field together and they had fun. Took Jackers Crackers out after, it got really hot at this point cos it was midday. He was his usual silly self!

It's this month's HULA open day tomorrow, is gonna be a glorious day!

A few days break, and a new flash, woo

Well I finished my last booking last night, went really well and the people are lovely, have promised they'll re-book some dates with me so that's great news.

So I have a few days break until I head off to London to my Auntie's, looking after there kitty, so I'll be at my gran's everyday to save my sanity and to see her a bit, cos I rarely see her now which is a shame. And from there head straight off to another booking :D

But yes, I ordered my first ever flash at the weekend and it arrived this morning, I lovvvvvvve it. Here's some sample pics...

Told you I'd forget

Well, there ya go. I completely forgot about this, I was just heading back from taking this Labrador for a walk when some guys mentioned the word 'blog' or perhaps didn't, but I thought they did. And I was like 'ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I forgot about that blog!', In my head and to myself, obviously - not to them!

Well as I said I took the lab girly for a walk, when at the woods a couple days ago now we met an-uneutered adult lab who wouldn't leave the poor girly alone :( but before the woner finally got the hint to put her dog on a lead she mentioned this walk right near to the vets we go to.

It is a lovely walk - and even better, there's a pond, queue labrador going for a smelly swim! Ha

That pond will be awesome for water pics the one thing I've wanted to do for ages!!

I am getting bookings each week now, and loving it. I have one booking for Sept, and one for October already!!

Am booked fuly for the last half of June too. Is gonna be real great.

Our local rescue have 4 Greyhounds in at the moment, only puppies at 7months old. I'm smitten! Am going up there on Wednesday again, to give them a good run around and get my Grey fix. And then, it's kitten cuddles time - have just got an adorable picture update on them, think they;re about 4weeks old now! *swoon*

Oh and excitment, I have brought myself a flash for my camera, finally! Will hopefully get some good practise with it! And I bought a necessity, Macbook charger this one is well and truly brokeded

Anyway, the sound of this rain is doing me 'ed in. Seee ya - not that anyone is reading this!

First Entry

Right, I've never blogged before, nor do I think this'll kick off, but I'm giving it a go nonetheless. I thought it'd be nice to start blogging - and why not? Well for one, I don't think I have anything of any interest to say, but we'll see what stems off from that won't we?

Well, for starters, I am a Pet Sitter, and hobbyist photographer(very hobbyist, and a beginner) so the two do tend to go hand in hand for me. And I never leave my camera at home when on a job.

And I am a volunteer for my Local Rescue centre/Sanctuary - HULA Animal Rescue - check out the animals on there, y'never know your perfect companion(s) might be waiting for you!

Most of the dog photos that appear on the Kennels page, and Buddy's blog - are mine, I try my best with capturing the dogs there and enjoy it immensly, that's both the photography and general volunteering.

So, for the bored among, sit back/relax/fall asleep and listen to the waffle that is my life!!

Do I start this with Day1 or something? I'm not sure. All I'll say is I'm on day 6 of an 11 day booking. I am looking after one very calm and funny labrador - Jessie, 4 cats - Teddy, Lola, Tabbatha and Felix, Numerous Fish, a Hamster, 2Tortoises(or is that Tortoi? lol), a rabbit - Max and 3 Guinea Pigs.
